Imachem association was established to strengthen the connection between soldiers of Brigade 5, support bereaved families and wounded soldiers, and instill the brigade’s values and military service in the community. The association aims to create a supportive community for brigade soldiers even after their military service, provide economic and social assistance to soldiers in need, and commemorate the brigade’s fallen soldiers.
The association’s main objectives include strengthening unit cohesion, supporting soldiers and their families, educating the public about military service values, and commemorating the brigade’s fallen soldiers. The association seeks to achieve these goals through various activities, such as: social events, financial assistance, community volunteer work, and educational projects.
The association’s vision is to create a supportive and embracing community for Brigade 5 soldiers, serving as a warm home for them even after their military service. The association places paramount importance on commemorating the memory of the brigade’s fallen soldiers, believing that this memory can serve as a source of inspiration for future generations.
The “Otef Israel” initiative and the association represent a winning combination of symbol and spirit. The initiative’s visual symbol inspires pride and provides a shared meeting point for the association’s members. On the other hand, the organization gives the symbol content and depth, connecting it to the brigade’s heritage and values.
This collaboration creates a strong circle: the symbol strengthens the sense of belonging and pride among the association’s members, while the association amplifies the symbol’s meaning and passes it on to future generations. Together, they create a strong identity and a supportive community, based on values of mutual responsibility, service to the state, and preserving combat heritage.
